Ask any local which trails they use most often, and they’re likely to talk about the Grand Traverse Commons or Hickory Meadows. These beloved trails are less than 1 mile apart as the crow flies but have never been connected due to private property between the two natural areas. Thanks to a partnership with TART Trails, the Grand Traverse Regional Land Conservancy, and the generosity of the Oleson’s family, we now have the opportunity to connect these properties with a multi-use, singletrack trail! Join us for a morning of trail building and be part of Traverse City history.
