The Traverse City Philharmonic (TC Phil) is pleased to invite Newcomers to their inaugural "Backstage Pass" event on October 18th, 2025 at 7:30 pm at the Traverse City Philharmonic Center in the Cherryland Mall, 1724 S. Garfield Avenue, Traverse City.

This is a PERFECT, one hour event if you've ever wondered if classical music is for you. Tickets are only $10, and your drink is included! (wine, beer, NA, soft drinks). Tickets must be purchased on line at TC Phil website at https://tcphil.org/events/backstage-pass-october-18/

So what is "Backstage Pass?" 
This event is designed for newcomers to not just the area, but the world of classical music. You'll get an hour of music with the FULL Traverse City Philharmonic orchestra, behind-the-scenes stories, and answers to questions you always wanted to ask from Maestro Kevin Rhodes, but can't during a regular concert. He'll lead the orchestra in some short passages from the concert that's being performed the next day to illustrate his points and give you a bit of a trailer or "amuse-bouche" of what the full two-hour concert will be on October 19, where they perform The Planets, while helping the audience understand classical music better than they ever have before! 

All Newcomers who come to the Backstage Pass on October 18th, will also receive an exclusive 50% off coupon code if they attend the full concert the next day (October 19) in Corson Auditorium as well as $10 off all tickets for the next TWO TC Philharmonic concerts!
