Please join us for a very exciting afternoon at the Interlochen Center for the Performing Arts.

On Saturday, February 10 our friends at Interlochen will host the Newcomers Club for a matinee ballet  performance of Sleeping Beauty.  This ballet will be preceded by a reception with brunch appetizers with select beer, wine, brunch cocktails and other beverages.   By registering for this event you are registering for BOTH the reception AND the ballet.  Limit for the reception & ballet is 100, so this event is limited to Members only.  The cost for the ballet and reception is $10 per person. 

The ballet is part of Interlochen's Signature Series.   The dancers will perform accompanied by the Traverse Symphony Orchestra performing the Tchaikovsky score. 

Interlochen will also  provide a campus and backstage tour at 11:30am.  The tour has a limit of 20 people and is a separate listing on the Events Calendar.   You must be registered for the ballet to attend the tour.

We expect this to be a very popular event, therefore only Newcomers members can register.  If you must cancel, please do so by February 7 so members who are on the waitlist can be accommodated.  There will be no refunds, but a cancellation prior to February 7 will add a credit to your Newcomers account.

Parking:
You’ll enter campus through the main gate, let the security team know why you’re here, and they’ll let you in. Park your car in Lots J-M, which is in front of the performance venue Corson Auditorium. By parking there, you’ll get premium parking for the performance, as by the time we are finished with our brunch and cocktail hour, those parking spots could be full already. Otherwise, you can park down in lots S, T, or U, which is directly outside our Cocktail Hour location - the Mallory Towsley Center for Arts Leadership
